"wow.. i dunno if i'v just totaly lost my vision of imagination.. but i just find this song so hard to make sense of. From the chorus i get the picture of maby someone who's a druggie
"siren siren, don't do this dance in my ear" Maby refering to an ambulance after he's had an o.d?"
"Siren, Siren.." References to a mythological being whose songs would attract seamen towards them and then as soon as the ships crew got close enough they saw the sirens for what they really were and the sirens would kill them.
This song refers to her as a siren because he believes she has a very attractive exterior, but when you become infatuated with her you realise the truth that she actually has an unattractive personality.
The references to time and his watch indicate his urgency to end his relationship with this woman, He believes it may be too late so he is writing a song to try and separate himself from her.
Thanks for inspiration
Maybe... | Reviewer: Taylor | 5/14/09
Maybe like "Anonymous" he's in a relationship and he really loved this girl, but she's only using him. He's also saying it's only a matter of time until their relationship is over, and that he's already lost interest.

Different people will see different things in the song but I think it's about two people in a relationship that's crashing and buring ("I've already lost it all"). The speaker wants to believe that there's something there ("Do a deadly dance, all I've asked for so little") and they want to hear it from their significant other ("I hope you still believe"). The speaker is asking for a straight answer.
Meaning - Lost Symphonies | Reviewer: d | 11/2/08
I have to speculate as well, I havent talked to the songwriters.
I believe its about how he idolized a woman, holding her up as if she was God, wanting her to be God but shes not. She can't replace God or be God so he finally looses everything since he invested in a god that can't be God. A siren is fully wicked and in fact less of a holy or good thing but more of a demon of death and allure. Ugly. Thats what he finds out his woman is.
The fact is, he is abstract and evasive (like he doesnt want to be found out) so its challenging to weed out subjective or red harring content and end up with the objective truth about what he is singing about. I believe he leaves out the context of his songs and it actually creates an allure and mystery .... obviously, its attractive.
