in this song personally i believe he is speaking of a possible drug addiction "Test my arms, kick like crazy, I’ve been trying way too long.
Only push the way off to fight you" he tests his arm, and for the short while is restless while he "pushes off" meaning he had taken the drugs. he pushes "off to fight you" to get that rush to eaze the withdrawels. when he speaks"dont treat me i'm to blame" he realizes what he is doing and how its affected him but at the same time doesnt want to kick the addiction.

anthony is an amazing artist in both saosin and circa. personally i enjoy the circa sound to listen to when im gone, but when the edge is gone sasoins heavier sound is just as amazing.

Eerie... | Reviewer: Half Boy Half Soup | 10/22/09

I had red the first lyric's paragraph and getting confuse. Why does a great song like this talk about shit? It talks about someone who wanted to test his arm by kicking like crazy? They, arm and kicking, are not related each other in this case! If you have ever visited listverse.com and red about list of most eerie recordings, this one have to be at the top of the list.

the situation happens so often | Reviewer: Anonymous | 9/23/09

i was with my x for 7yrs lol, and he cheated on me and if it wasnt for him cheating i would have never seen the true side of him and yes its hard to let somone go but they way he says hes,"Now I’m sorry, I’m sorry, I’m not sure" this is what goes throu my head each day i see my x with the girl he cheated on me with.

Wow, stupidity | Reviewer: D rock | 6/10/09

I've seen some comments about this song being about Anthonys dad raping him. FUCK OFF. You're an idiot :D This song could be about a few things but i'm practically SURE it's not about his dad raping him. Have fun arguing btw.

ITS ABOUT | Reviewer: RYAN | 6/5/09

His girlfriend after she told him after seven years when they werent together anymore that he would forget all about her. So he wrote this song seven years after to prove that he wouldnt forget..hence the title.

yup | Reviewer: collin | 5/12/09

i agree with basically everybody that says this song has to do with rapture

theres gonna be seven years of hardship in the rapture. "tell him his eyes see too clear" (seeing past the charades of sin) (might be wrong, but i also think he says "tell him" because he doesn't want to talk to god personally and lots of other analogies =]

i'm pretty sure this and all the other songs on the ep are about anthony not being happy with saosins direction and wanting to leave. thats common knoweledge at this point. also, anthony green does write songs about god, they just happen to be about not believing in him. the entire on letting go album is about letting go of the silly superstitions of religion and god.

This is a really pretty song. Everyone here is saying what they think this song is about. But I think this song could be about whatever you want it to be. Dig deep into the lyrics and relate it to something. I don't think that even most artists know what their songs are truely about because I think each song creates a different meaning for every single person who listens to it. Just some thoughts I've always had.

really? | Reviewer: sam | 3/13/09

Who ever said this song is about god didnt really listen to the end of the song. "Don’t treat me I’m to blame dont treat me like i ever acused you" I dont know the meaning im not gonna try but its not about god.Anthony Green doesnt write songs about god
