I mean, true, this song could be interpreted as a religious song (to a certain extent), but that's up to you to decipher. This is a place to review right? A place to review the SONG, not the [many] backgrounds the song could have. But I guess that's not up for me to decide right? But anyways, this song is amazing, the lyrics, the guitar, everything. But true, the video for it isss a little hard to grasp when trying to connect it into the song (unless you look at the homosexuality part at the end and then relate that back to the religious sense in the lyrics). But still: great song, great band. Stop fucking preaching for everyone to live by the Bible. What about Muslims, Budhists, or anyone who follows any other religion? They don't have to give a shit about the Bible. I am 'Christian' enough. I believe in God for my own personal reasons, but I do not believe the Bible, or the God in the Bible. God plainly, CANNOT be the God the Bible portrays. If He was, we would not have the problems we have no. Are all the people who die in acts of terrorism sinners? What about people murdered by physcopaths? People killed in the Indonesian tsunami? They were ALL sinner were they? And if you say they were sinners, I know enough of the Bible to know that it states God will forgive you no matter what you have done if you want to forgivness. So no matter how you live your life, you can be saved, you can be forgiven. And if your Almighty-Bible-God made everything, he obviously made the homosexual trait in our species aswell. And since the Bible states he is omnipotent, omnipresent and omniscient, he MUST have known at his moment of creation (btw, who/what made god? another debate for another time:P) what He would do and how what we did would turn out. So he MUST'VE known that there would be homosexuals in the human race, and since He didn't change that, he obviously wanted that or at the very least didn't mind it. So when it is this easy for a Christian who has never gone to church and never read the complete Bible to prove that you are wrong by your own contradictions, you might be better off to keep your mouth shut. It seems like they are more progressive than some of their fans. I am christian myself but I am also Bi. I do not think homosexuality is a sin because not everything in the bible is true. For those who say there's nothing wrong with homosexuality, the bible, which is more holy than anything on this earth today, clearly says that homosexuality is wrong (1Corinthians 6:9,10). Also, simply saying that you don't believe in the bible doesn't change the facts of what god knows.
