S.D. is defenatly on my top 10 of favorites | Reviewer: Chris | 6/14/08 social distortion is labeled souly as a punk rock band but i disagree espicaly when you compair them to other punk rock bands of the time the exploited, fear, the misfits, anti-nowhere league, ect. to me social distortion is a fushion of blues, rock, and punk. it is very well put together. and reminds you or well atleast me about both the good the bad and the heartbreaking times growing up all at once. when i have a tough day i often find myself turning social distortion on my ipod and letting it play out when i get home. and so i give them 2 thumbs way up Social D | Reviewer: dustin decker | 8/31/07 I think Social Distortion is the god of punk rock, Mike Ness' vocals are incredibly moving, and the guitar solos are very impressive in songs like "Ball & Chain". I have five Social Distortion albums and I like them each. I have the album Mommy's Little Monster, prison bound, the self-titled album, Sex, Love, Rock n' Roll, and the newly released Greatest Hits. It has personally changed my way of life from being the non musical not talented yet still anti establishment'd. The very first album I heard was Live at the Roxy, and that album has done more for me than anything else. I swear anybody who listens to that album can hopefully relate to it. I have been a Social Distortion (SD) fan since. I cannot wait for thier next album (todays date is Wednesday, July 19,2006. 8:41 pm pacific time. (California, 5miles from hometown of SD). I can relate to all those people you see on www.myspace.com/socialdistortion. I am getting tats' of the Skelly of SD. I have never been away from the crowd of fans of SD. I am listening to "Mommy's Little Monster" right now and it is and always will be one of my most favorite songs. ANTI ESTABLISHMENT, Prison Bound drawing nearer! I got my life going by fast trying to make it last. Social Distortion is the God of Punk music in my opinion.
