I've liked SOAD for a while now. This song is really good, and it helped me through some stupid drama. I'm glad they wrote this.

I love SOAD, have since they first came out. They are a wonderful band and their songs are so interesting and Intelligent if you listen to the lyrics..and the music always fits the mood of the lyrics. That's what makes them great.
This song, I'd heard it a few times before the trailer for "Disturbia" came out, but seeing it paired with that movie kinda got me interested all over again. Now it's constantly stuck in my head! I love it!
The into just sets you off, it sounds lonely before the words even start. And the more you listen the more lonely you feel it seems. It's a perfect song for a rainy day (literally and figuratively). Gives you the sense that someone is out there and is feeling the same way you do about life at that moment. SOAD are great muscians and I'm glad their song is on the soundtrack for "Disturbia" I think it's a wonderful fit.

It has nearly made me cry each time I've listened to it. The lyrics and the meaning mean a lot to me. It's how I feel about life right now. So... *tear* Thanks SOAD. <3

First time i herad this song, I almost cried. I think it had a meaning for Daron and for each of the band, and has another to each of us. It doesn't have to mean the same for everyone. Just listen it when you think life all sucks, when everything is going bad, and you'll feel taht shiver coming up of you. That's the magic of SOAD, I think.

Well, first listening to it, I understood all of the words. 1 point. After listening to it about 3rd time, got bored with the whole song... So boring, man. Yeah, I understand meanings and everything but it would be more clever thing to put Hezze instead of Lonely Day in the album...
Love all the SOAD songs but this... Eeeehhh. Boring.

yea... songs have something that's called "meaning" yes M E A N I N G...but it's for people who have got a bit of intelligence. don't say that the song is bad if you don't understand it at all.
the song's great, gives me a while of thinking about sad things in life, gives me a short stop, I think it's not very melanholic song because of music in bacground but i think it fit perfectly and make whole song great

I don't know what peoples think. The Song "Lonely Day" isen't a fucking Emo Song. Wow, cause it has a slow rythym. Omg, dosen't make it a sad song. System Of A Down Put so much meaning in this song, only peoples that can understand Daron's feeling know the meaning. Its about him being afraid, afraid of the darkness around him. The part that says "Such a Lonely Day, And Its Mind, Its a Day Im Glad I Survived". It means he has over come his Fear. Daron had compasion in his life, and what he has done, with the band, traveling around the world is their dream, not only to play sweet funny songs, but to put a word in peoples minds, for what they are doing in this world to destroy it. They try their hardess to put intellegence in their heads. System Of A Down Did this for everyone, and they respect everyone. They Try their hardess to get the word around, but it dosen't seem to help. Everyone, try to understand that System Of a Down isen't doing this cause of their songs.

It is a brilliant song, but there is 1 problem. It is too short!!!!
