Then i printed the lyrics out and next to each line i put what i thought: something about the girl being on drugs and such a one night stand blah blah blah. Then i watched the video and kinda put it all together:She might kill herself because of her addiction (the gun in the beginning of the music video) there is also and chase and kill and an exlposion so there couldve been a fight. hes not really sure how close their relationship is or can get. then when he talks about the scissor shaped thing he "cuts" his neck with the mic. bottom line she killed herself and is on the bed and hes confused. hes telling her and himself that hes never going to forget her and he's yelling it at her. idk thats what i think i trip over everything you say | Reviewer: Anonymous | 7/12/08 it kind of sounds like a guy and girl are best friends, and in love with each other, but can't act on it. because one of them is in a relationship. so in the term 'And we lay, we lay together just not Too close, Too close (How close is close enough?)' they are physical just not to the point of cheating. like, under the table cheating? just my opinion. got it i think | Reviewer: Anonymous | 6/17/08 ok i think this song is about a couple who are intimate but they dont really know each other. they treat eacch other badly because they think the other is going to leave them. they dont know what to do so they drink and do drugs and that makes them hate eachother more. the man is trying to make the girl stay by treating her badly and the girl drinks and does drugs because she doesnt know what to do. they want to get to know each other but they dont know how. they are close physically but emotionally.
