"swing" no one writes aboutdrugs really, youre a moron. this is about a relationship that makes him feel he is losing himself
"I watch myself,
Walk away,
A foreign spirit,
took my place.
An empty stare,
its eyes are dull,
So my essence, it's riding my pulse."
you are going to try to argue that the next line is about him smoking something, when in reality its his metaphor for ABRACADABRA, POOF, HE IS GONE, HE LOST HIMSELF
"It's all I've wan-
ted now I guess I've got it.
Why it happened, I don't know,
Hope this doesn't last forever."
that should explain to you that he is over losing himself in this relationship and hopes it ends...
the only drug this could apply to is a relationship, dumbfuck

I think that this is the only song that really comes out and talks about drugs in a way that the community surrounding The Faint and the fanbase can understand.
The only thing is, the way in which it is written makes the drug in question ambiguous. It could be so many different things.
~Awesome!~ | Reviewer: ~Laura | 4/27/2007
Two of what i think are The Faint's best songs are both off of "Wet from Birth". I "Disappear" and "Southern Bells in London Sing". This Band is great to listen to EVERYWHERE! In the car on the highway, at the gym, at the club... But the lyrics to "Disappear" really got to me. Dont you just love it when a bands lyrics and song make you FEEL?
Honestly, if you want to listen to good music, check out this bad, and the Wet from Birth Album (that one kicks ass) all the songs are awesome! (Disappear is track #3) Enjoy!
