Review about I Told You ------Performed by The Game | 02/22/2006 10:00:00 AM You can sign Jesus Christ, he couldn't save yo' ass Short and simple, "I Told You" proves Game can rhyme with clever insults that I don't know how G-Unit could respond without sayin' "OH YEAH, YOU STILL LYIN'" like they always do. When ANYONE can spit like this you know they deserve to be on top. The beat is simple enough to not get in the way of the lyrics but enough to bob your head too. Another verse would have been appreciated, but I don't think Game would want to embarass G-Unit too much. The Game can back-up anything he says, and with that knowledge you get respect because he's spitting the truth, unlike other artists out there. "You can sign Jesus Christ, he couldn't save yo' ass" is probably one of the best lines I've heard in any hip-hop or rap song, but, I may have a narrow view on it since The Game, Immortal Technique are the only albums on my ipod; and i just have 1-4 songs from Lil Jon, Eminem, Dre, Jadakiss, B-I-G, Mike Jones, 2pac...yeah. 4/5 stars.
