As an recoevered pill addict i figured that he was talking about talking pill and the effect they have on people. the parts that made this thought cross my mind are the title, the first stanza and how he talks sbout her hand and his hands shaking and we "would rather waste" his time with her. meaning that he wishes he was spending his time with her instead of gettin high. In fact it starts with saying "And it's all in how you mix the two"(blue and yellow) and that would give you the colour green (the colour linked to jelousy)and the verses that proof this further are "It's a feeling that you cannot miss" as everybody is jelous sometime. "And it burns a hole, Through everyone that feels it" shows that being jelous hurts. I thnik the second stanza introduces the love theme to the song because you just fall in love (and love leads to jelousy). I think the corus talks about love making and shows that all tough he is fed up of her he'd rather keep her for him self than give her up to some one else. "Rather waste some time with you" I think the corus 2 speaks about all the lies he told her. I have only listend to the song a couple of times but this is the impression I got of the song.
