Guys there is nothing bad about this song. Its just saying if your at your point in life where you feel like complete and utter crap due to a situation, STOP COMPLAINING! This song is encouraging you to do better and make your life the way you want it. Its inspiration. It even says that "you're not the only one, refusing to back/go down, you're not the only one" which means your not the only one doing through a crappy situation. Some of you have to work on your song interpretation.

The only thing this band has going for them is their sound. Their lyrics are too simple and I feel I'm being too kind in saying they're comparative to raging alcoholics. There are several songs to express the same thing, but I suppose if you enjoy mindless rage-ahol then this is the perfect assistive expression of your similarly feeble minded anger.

Why are people hating on the people that use this song for when their depressed or angry?
This song was made to help people like that when they feel that way. So people can remember this and get up. So stop saying shit like this song isn't trying to say how fucked up the world is. Because no body said that. Yes they did listen to this when they feel like that. But not to hear more about how fucked up the world is. They listen to it to help them GET UP really all you haters are dumbasses.

What I think this song means is that our Civlization is fucked up nowadays, we need to forget all the tiny minute details and rule as 1, no need for thinking, only action. Life is suposed to be taken in spontaneously and not to be worrying about what the world thinks of you. you must feel your need to express yourself and whoever doesnt care, can go to worry about their own life.

I do believe that this song isn't all about how messed up the world is. It does start out with talking about that, but with the whole "let's start a riot," it doesn't mean "let's start complaining!" I think what it really means is, "if it bothers you so much, get off your butt and DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT!" That's what it means to me-- if you don't like it, do something about it.

wow....i just like how the song sounds....and how many people feel that way? it's perfect really. for all the little teeny boppin pot smoking arm cutting whiny lil teenagers out there who think their lives r soooo bad and their parents are evil or they had it rough growing up...."things r rough all over." deal with it. that's life. Songs bad ass tho.
