The lyrics of any song are never satanic, no matter how far out, or crazed they may seem. Trivium's song "Pull Harder on the Strings of Your Martyr" is a perfect example. The lyrics in no way represent satan, his disciples (whoever you may be, burn in hell), or is it disrespecting Christ. As a matter of fact, If you actually read and UNDERSTAND instead of reading just a few words or lines, and thinking that it is some form of "Devil, kill your grandma music", then your are WAY off base. If you analyze what he is saying, then actually you will see that he is truly just speaking of how corrupted the world around him is, and how it is driving him to sin to end the sin, which is still wrong, but in no way does it represent loving the devil, or anything of that sort. And I STILL love all of the hardcore bands, like Trivium, As I Lay Dying, Coheed and Cambria, Bullet for My Valentine, and even Tool, one of the craziest bands I know of. But the lyrics never represent evil, just the evil that the singers/screamers see around them in the world. Things that need to be fixed.
