I hadn't heard of this song - or of Warren Zevon - until a few hours ago, when I was watching "Funny People" with Seth Rogan and Adam Sandler. The song was so beautiful that I had to look up the lyrics when the movie was over. Very sad story. Absolutely gorgeous song. I think it ranks up there with the classics...just sad I missed out on hearing it for all these years. Hauntingly awesome. RIP, Mr Zevon.
