This is a really cool song! I probably first heard it back in the nineties, but it's awesome. I don't even care that it was used in some idiotic preteen movies (although i'm kind of sad that that's how a lot of people first heard of Weezer). Well, you know, I guess it's all about exposure. As long as more people listen to Weezer's songs, it's cool.

It's sad that so many of you are downgrading the song because of a movie it was in. As a thirtysomething mom I'll readily admit that I'm not as cool as many of you think you are. And I liked the movie as fun, harmless family fun that my kids enjoyed and didn't make me want to take a hammer to my head. I also loved that the producers were savvy enough to include music from a great band like Weezer. Yes, even moms like Weezer too!

Idk why people are putting down this AWESOME song just 'cause it was in Aquamarine. I actually ENJOYED Aquamarine very much. But then again, I'm only 11, what do I know? Anyway, don't diss this incredible song just because it was in a movie YOU didn't like. And you know what? The first time I had ever even heard this song was in Aquamarine. And then I was like, "I really like this song." I was gonna download it, but I wasn't on my computer (yes, I watched it online) and eventually forgot about it. So today I'm watching TV and a commercial comes up for some island and the song is playing, instantly reminding me what an AWESOME song it is. AND IT WAS A LOW-BUDGET COMMERCIAL, PEOPLE. It doesn't matter what the song is on. All that matters is that this song ROX. And btw, this song was on "Holiday in the Sun." Ya' know, that annoying MK&A movie? Well I'd choose Aquamarine over that ANY day.

Who cares what movie it was in? Seriously. If you like the song, why does it matter. It's like the way everyone hates the song See You Again by Miley Cyrus simply for the reason that it's sung by Miley Cyrus. If you like the song, you shouldn't care.

OMG I LOVE THIS SONG! it reminds me of the movie holiday in the sun, with then olsen twins. it also reminds me a lot about summer, i love summer and holiday in the sun so therefore i love this song.

I hope you feel special if you use this review to tell the world you new weezer before anyone else in the entire universe(which i highly doubt)..
you probably think every song weezer wrote that hit the charts is annoying. you probably hate all the people who only lisen to weezer's "popular" songs.

this song is so good and it was in Out Cold first which is an awesome movie that beats aquamarine and mary kate and ashley any day..

my main points are that
weezer is amazing ive loved them since elemetary and even in highschool now i still love them, even tho beverly hills got annoying when i heard my idiot peers talking about how weezer is a "new band" i wanted to jump them all!

and i dont know what the hec aquamarine is but i looked at it on youtube and yeah it looks gay. not much to complain about, but its kind of annoying when one of ur fav songs is used for a sucky movie

You know I am 49 years old and I guess at my age I look for fantasy and I heard this song on Aquamarine, which I enjoyed, silly girl movie but all the same it is a fantasy and I fell in love with tyhe song from the movie. A movie cannot ruin a song, a song comes from the heart and will be loved no matter what.

quite frankly, movies like aquamarine ruin amazing songs like this. Kidz bop, wat? Beverly hills was a good song until they put that on it. quite frankly, good songs by any artist are being ruined by them letting people put their songs on crappy albums and bad movies like yes, aquamarine.

sadly, im one of the people who heard this song from watching aquamarine (which no offence, was kinda sucky). its a shame i had to find it that way, because its a really beautiful song.

wow for all the people that just knew about this song from "aquamarine" please get over yourselfs. This is one of their greatest hits and it sucks to know that you all had to hear it in a horrible movie for a bunch of kids that are fighting over dramatic shit
