My boyfriend Jon made a mix CD for me this song was on it! I had never heard it before then. I am glad i have now. Its a great song. But I donts ee it as a sad song really. Its Sad but I think It has a message of hope in it. Thats all
Most well-driven song ever...if that makes sense | Reviewer: theboxheadkid. | 7/19/2007
This song is by far the most beautifully collaborated piece of music from Yellowcard. They really have sprung from being the young ocean avenue goers and I think there maturity is quite reflective in this song. The violin just adds more and emphasis to the lyrics of the song! Lyrics/ballads/instrument all intertwine creatively and it is one of the good thinking songs. Makes you almost want to stop and just breathe...
YC!!!! roks!!! | Reviewer: rodney | 3/5/2007
yeah i agree... you can cleary see a big difference between Ocean Ave and Lights and Sounds. Lights and sounds gives u that cold lonley grey day at the empty neighborhood feeling, but Ocean Ave had sadder lyrics yet it gives u that warm sunny day at the beach feeling. But i cant wait till the 4th YC album comes out this year!!!
