The lives of New Found Glory run parallel to the lives of most of their fans over the past few years -- they've experienced heartbreak, left school for the real world, finally moved out of their homes and found careers. And though the group has spawned outstanding international notoriety over the past couple years, New Found Glory are just as easy to connect with as a best friend, with hardly any fan/band separation to be found. Its kind of like how sequals of movies are never(or rarely) as good as the originals. The song is brilliant, and the way its played by New Found Glory is interesting and i do enjoy it, but my personal taste still goes more towards the orginal by Sixpence None the Richer. New Found Glory indeed did a very good job on the cover, though. I would have never heard it if it hadn't been for my love dedicating this wonderful song to me. oh, and as for other reviewers who had called New Found Glory punk....well you are quite wrong. New Found Glory is mainstream teen punk, kind of like Avril Lavighine(or however you spell her nam) . No where near actual punk. Before they got a record deal they made two albums as a hardcore metal band, and after the record companies got through with them they turned into a punk band just by changing tunings and a few chords and drum beats. These lyrics are NOT about what people think they are, the music makes it seem nicer, and more mainstream, and they get more money from bubblegum rock fans and such. So look beyond the music, look at the lyrics about probably 89% of their songs (the newest or maybe two newest albums changed in lyric motive due to the fact that their used to silly easy going songs) are about something violent, disgusting, and cold. The perfect example of situations like this is Kayne West. Stronger was written with the intentions of about beating up his girlfriend during a breakup. It makes sense when you take the lyrics into perspective. That they want them around but their acting like they hate them and they keep involving them in useless drama and its making the other person feel like crap and feel really torn between their relationship and their actions are ending it rather quickly because nobody wants to be around that shit they push away from it to get away.
