Listen to the 'Heathen' CD more than once...the songs grow on you...and with you. In this song you see into a place of vulnerability that few share. I think it is raw and universal...and the music behind the lyrics fits nicely...not too melancholy, not too desperate...more closely an acceptance of it and looking straight at it...very vulnerable way to go about looking at how one feels. Bowie shows his mastery of vocals in many songs...but in this one I think he did an awesome job of making the song accessible. I'd like to see more of the songs off the 'Heathen' CD on the airwaves, this one included!
