From The Phantom of the Opera Raoul
No more talk of darkness,
forget these wide-eyed fears;
I'm here, nothing can harm you,
my words will warm and calm you.
Let me be your freedom,
let daylight dry your tears;
I'm here, with you, beside you,
to guard you and to guide you.
Christine
Say you'll love me ev'ry waking moment;
turn my head with talk of summertime.
Say you need me with you now and always;
promise me that all you say is true,
that's all I ask of you.
Raoul
Let me be your shelter,
let me be your light;
you're safe, no one will find you,
your fears are far behind you.
Christine
All I want is freedom,
a world with no more night;
and you, always beside me,
to hold me and to hide me.
Raoul
Then say you'll share with me one love, one lifetime;
let me lead you from your solitude.
Say you need me with you, here beside you,
anywhere you go, let me go too,
that's all I ask of you.
Christine
Say you'll share with me one love, one lifetime.
Say the word and I will follow you.
Together
Share each day with me, each night, each morning.

Review about All I Ask Of You All I Alk Of You | Reviewer: unknownpersonality | 11/1/09
I agree with Anonymous. By the way, didn't you mean "I gave you MY music?"
If I was Christine, I would have chosen the Phantom. (See the movie, you'll know what I'm talking about.) Well, she kissed him (the Phantom) at the end of the movie, but she shouldn't have gone with Raoul.
I don't like the way the story ends because the Phantom finally realizes that love feels like and then he's left by himself for the rest of his life because she leaves with another guy.
I feel sorry for the Phantom. :(
Romanc dies at end of song | Reviewer: Anonymous | 10/28/09
This is missing some lyrics. At the end of the song the Phantom says "I gave you me music/made your song take wing/and now how you're repaid me/denied me and betrayed me/he was bound to love you/when he heard you sing."
If you've seen the movie/play you know that the Phantom is in love with Christine.
That part at the end kills the romance of the rest of the song. It's heartbreaking to hear the Phantom shout "You will curse the day you did not do/all the the Phantom asked of you!"
Other that the part at the end, though, it's a good song.
My wedding song | Reviewer: Anonymous | 7/6/07
This song is so special to me. So special in fact that instead of the wedding march, I'm walking down the isle to it this October. It touches my very soul. Sarah Brightman's and Michael Crawford's haunting, perfect voices together simply asking each other to love each other is absolutely incredible!!
