Hey everybody out there, now it is official. Many rumors
have been going around, that Tobias Sammet is doing a huge
side-project with a lot of other musicians from other bands
on the metal scene. Now we can tell about it: For over one
year now Tobias has been working on the recording of a
Metal Opera named "Avantasia", a concept album telling a
story which is a mixture beween fantasy, true history and
some religious/ philosophic stuff, while the music will be
heavy, melodic and bombastic Metal. About the idea Tobias

    All I can say is that this song is so complex,and so well sung,that I am struck with amazement every single time I listen to it!It's like...a small movie...or book,if you want...it starts so dramatically - speaking of armageddon - and finishes in a pretty light,happy(hopeful if you wish) note...five star song in my honest opinion.Oh,and beautiful vocals and solos,by the way...I simply love them!

    How can no-one have reviewed this song yet? It is one of the most fantastic things I've ever heard. Tobias Sammet proves that he can definitely give Nightwish a run for their money when it comes to 14-minute opuses!! Brilliant stuff, instrumentally, vocally and lyrically.
