The genius behind lies within the connection to one man; J. Robert Oppenheimer. He is known as the father of the atomic bomb and was a serious American political power. The title is derived from the Bhagavad Gita (a Hindu Scripture): "If the radiance of a thousand suns were to burst at once into the sky, that would be like the splendor of the mighty one" and after witnessing the test of a bomb, a second line from the scripture popped into his twisted mind "I am become Death, the destroyer of worlds." The first nuclear weapons test (which involved an implosion design plutonium bomb)was known as "Trinity," hence the line "Unholy union, trinity reformed" E=MC squared was the equation used in order to predict the amount of energy and explosive yield of the bombs. The verses are very selfexplainitory, and I'm sure by reading them you will agree that this song paints a very good picture of what we have done. E=mc2 is Einstein's formula for his theory of relativity. The reference to Robert is of J Robert Oppenheimer, who led the Manhattan Project.
