It represents Oasis as a new up and coming band, that were soon to take the music world by storm. Yes, the guitar riffs and chords were clearly stolen from T- Rex's hit "Bang a gong". But the lyrics send a simple but nonetheless clear message, that Oasis were the real deal, they had a message to deliver, and they were delivering it with style and confidence.
