DAEDALUS is an experimental Progressive band from Genoa, Italy. In our music we try to combine a complex harmonic texture, elaborate rhythmic elements and clear melodic lines, melting and alternating different atmospheres in a gradual or sudden way, trying to create an overwhelming and fascinating musical journey while keeping the structure of the songs rather simple. Each member of the band contributed to define our style, adding original ideas to elements derived from Classical music, Jazz, Rock and metal. We’ve been playing for several years in live performances, gaining a very good response from the audience. We recently signed a contract with New LM Records label and we published our first CD “Leading Far From A Mistake”. We received good reviews of our music in several Metal magazines (Metal Hammer, Metal Shock) and webzines (among them www.disintegration.it, www.metallus.it, www.metal-realm.com, www.neroopaco.it in this last one we appear in the “Metal Awards 2002” section as Best Bass). A track from our album figures in the CD compilation sold together with the November 2003 issue of RockHard magazine, Italian edition. Recently we had to change our singer and guitar player: with the new ones we are composing the songs for our next album.

Current Line-Up:
Fabio Gremo – Bass
Beppe Spanò – Keyboards
Davide La Rosa – Drums
Luca D’Angelo – Vocals
Andrea Torretta – Guitars

Previous members:
Alessio Brunetti – Vocals (on “Leading Far From A Mistake”)
Andrea Rinaldi – Guitars (on “Leading Far From A Mistake”)
