Dawn Of A New Day Lyrics - In Flames

To be honest, if you listen to the early In Flames albums and compare them to the RTR album you will notice that Rattlehead is right. In Flames changed to a more melodical tune making lyrics and music clearer. RTR was the album that totaly changed my view of In Flames. This is why i believe that Rattleheads conclusion is correct. Ofcourse since the band themself ain't answering these questions it is impossible to know. Just know this... Dizzy is as wrong as a person can be on anything anywhere at any time...

Dawn of a new day could be very well about the album RTR, dawn of a new day. Never looked as good as this, could anders saying he really enjoys his new style considering RTR was a major turning point in in flames musical career, against the grain, against the odds, this isnt your typical melo-death, and the odds of people accepting this new sound, this is my theory, or u can apply it to your own life, making a change for the better

Seriously? That post about communism has absolutely no ground whatsoever to stand upon. Saying the Swedes subscribe to Communist ideas is like saying Americans eat to much fast food and are fat. Well, yeah, some may, but there is a vast majority that doesn't.

As a disclaimer I know very little about this band and what I say is only speculation. What I do know about this band is that they are swedish and the swedish are known to subscribe to communism ideology. It looks to me as though this song is a praise to communism. Very simple, he's singing about a new stage in his life. He wont be like before again "thoughts of yesterday forgotte, I like the way this new skin feels" then against the grain (against whats supposed to happen, usually) against the odds (against the chances) He will be better and he won't fall again. Oh yeah and he thought he'd nice be like the others, eventually he will be, as the others play with luck to choose their future

really like this and think its great. im not sure if i really understand what the lyrics are about so i need help and interpretations for the lyrics
