I can't light no more of your darkness
All my pictures seem to fade to black and white
I'm growing tired and time stands still before me
Frozen here on the ladder of my life
It's much too late to save myself from falling
I took a chance and changed your way of life
But you misread my meaning when I met you
Closed the door and left me blind by the light
Oh, Don't let the sun go down on me, yeah
Although I search myself, there's always someone else I see
I'd just allow a fragment of your life to wander free, yeah
Because losing everything feels like the sun going down on me
I can't find, oh, the right romantic line
But see me once and see the way I feel
Don't discard me, oh, just because you think I mean you harm
But these cuts I have, they need love to help them heal
Oh, Don't let the sun go down on me, yeah
Although I search myself, there's always someone else I see
I'd just allow a fragment of your life to wander free, yeah
Because losing everything is like the sun going down on me
Don't let the sun go down on me
Although I search myself, there's always someone else I see
I'd just allow a fragment of your life to wander free, yeah
Because losing everything is like the sun going down on me,
On me.

Review about Don't Let The Sun Go Down On Me Question about the artist | Reviewer: Ted Ying | 1/30/2008
I know that you are probably aware, but Clay Aiken only covered the song. Somewhere on your page, you really need to list Elton John (composer) and Bernie Taupin (Lyricist) to give them the appropriate credit for their song even if you don't give them credit for being the actual artists. Clay Aiken wasn't even born when the song went to #2 on the charts and became Elton John's fourth multi-gold single. George Michael and Elton John went to #1 with a duet version of the song in 1991. Both of these helped make the song more memorable than Aiken's version.
