In early 2003 four standard geezers from St. Albans City, a
standard area just north of London, formed a band.
They formed a band that they hoped would reignite unity
into the music scene and ultimately into people lives. And
this was no hidden agenda as they started by fusing many
different genres and styles together to form their own
sound. They essentially mould together the passion of
hardcore and punk with the passion of euphoria and trance
amongst many other influences.
Enter Shikari translates from Indian as “Enter the Hunter”.
‘The Hunter' is a character in a play Rou wrote before the
band even existed, a character that gets used as a metaphor
for positive aggression. More...

------ About the song Adieu performed by Enter Shikari
absoloutely brilliant.. can use this song to chill out after whatever bad has happened. Relating perfectly to life and love..
"And I long for you to appear
After losing your way across star riddled skies
To carry you home
I cherish my loss
A gentle reminder, that life is unkind
At the best of times"
amazing.

------ About the song Juggernauts performed by Enter Shikari
The first time i heard this track, i was watching the video from the Enter Shikari website and for some reason it would not load properly so i never heard the full song. My first thoughts were, this is pretty average.
However once i actually listened to it a few times i began to realise how good it is. The lyrics are emotive and powerful getting an urgent message across about the state of contemporary society. If you didn't like if first time round like me, give it another chance!
Also there are some great remixes!

Enter Shikari is so unique, so good. Heard them for the first time in NHL 08 where their song "Sorry you're not a winner" was on the game. These guys are my favorite band right now, their originality is like no other, and hopefully they come to Canada sometime soon, Regards from MTL

Going to see Shikari again next month. I'm usually into much heavier stuff but shikari was by far the best gig i went to last year. They were even better than MFH and Trivium which was a surprise!!

------ About the song Johny Sniper performed by Enter Shikari
I think these lyrics are very interesting and can cover many different meanings to many people.
I personally see them as an attack on someone who's attempts to "help" others and do "good" are really just hurting them - but it doesnt matter because he will have another chance to do try again, and again...

When you hit 16 and buy a scratchcard you will know what the song is about! ;-) Puts me right off having a cheeky bet but awesome song.

------ About artist/band Enter Shikari
This band is AMAZING. The synthesizer playing against the heavy bass on some songs (like Mothership) counteracting the less techno-metal, more "traditional rock" songs (like Bearer of Bad News) is genius. It manages to keep them from being pigeon-holed in a single genre, which is a trait a lot of bands can't accomplish. Kudos, Enter Shikari. You guys are freaking GENIUS.

I love how the lyrics are sweet, yet so simple.
And the "Home could be anywhere, when I am holding you" would have to be the best piece of lyric I have heard in a while.
Amazing.

------ About the song Adieu performed by Enter Shikari
I love this song so much I have had it on repeat for about a week.
It is so relevant to everything happening in (my) life.
I love the piano "interlude" before the last verse.
Sometimes this song makes me unbelievably happy, and other times it makes me cry.
I think the songs about a guy who likes this girl, and does almost everything for her, but the girl doesn't notice nor care.
He starts to love the girl but then he realizes that she doesn't know about him. Soon it becomes too late.

rou's voice makes the song work as well as the whole sound and repetition, if anyone else sang it, it wouldn't work.
