1991 It all starts in Pudasjärvi, a small town of 10 000 inhibitants in Northern Finland, quite close to Oulu, the Northern city of technology. Autumn has come, and two boys are finally starting up a band of their own. Some Finnish underground metal bands have finally gained some success abroad, so Jarmo Puolakanaho and Altti Veteläinen decide to try it, too. Songs are written throughout the winter. Andromeda is finally chosen to be the name of the band. Jarmo plays the guitar and sings, Altti plays the second guitar. The drums are banged by the computer. 1992 The first demo is to be called "The Fourth Dimension". The recording sessions start in April and end in May.
