In 1981, Bay Area California musicians Mike "Puffy" Bordin,
Billy Gould, Mike Morris, and Wade Worthington formed a
band called Faith No Man. A year later when Worthington was
replaced by keyboardist Roddy Bottum, and Mike "The Man"
Morris was ousted, the group began calling themselves Faith
No More. After going through a series of singers which
included Courtney Love, the band was joined by Chuck Mosely
in 1983.

The same year, Jim Martin was recruited to replace
guitarist Mark Bowen. A four-song demo tape recorded in

Its hard to define them, groundbreaking comes to mind, I have been stuck with ashes to ashes for days, hearing it over and over, amazing notes, and the ability of Patton to use his voice. Only knew them for Epic, but now that I have heard all of Album of the year, I cannot wait to hear king for a day and angel dust. And to think that Patton is also responsable for Mr Bungle, amazes me, the variety of music he has been able to create, and the diffrent sounds that he can create with his voice, a true talented musician.
