So we went after the crash,
we step out alone.
An undivided healing
that swallows us whole.
The air cuts like glass
and you taste like winter.
And how long will you last, forever
And congratulations
you've become what you wanted.
Stepping out of this car with that look in your eye and knowing that you've never looked so beautiful.
Telephone lines away,
death on the end and I’m screaming.
226 on the door,
asking to make out while watching the war.
So we went after the crash,
we step out alone.
An undivided healing
that swallows us whole
nothing’s like this exit,
pale white skin on memory (x2)
And I’ve got the proof to frame the way.
As we danced, we bled across the floor.
And that never-ending supply what we wished for.
It took me 14 hours to get this sore and knowing that you've never looked so beautiful.
Telephone lines away,
death on the end and I’m screaming.
226 on the door,
asking to make out while watching the war
So we went after the crash,
we step out alone.
An undivided healing
that swallows us whole
nothing’s like this exit,
pale white skin on memory (x2)
25 days and I still can't get this right. (x2)
So we went after the crash,
we step out alone.
An undivided healing
that swallows us whole
(So we went)
nothing’s like this exit,
pale white skin on memory (x2)
Telephone lines away, felt through a phone line (x2)

such a beautiful song with such deep lyrics...
all of their songs have an actuall meaning behind them, which is why i think people can relate to brocks singing, because he gives his emotions to us completely...
amazing singing style, and the scream is so heavy.
im allways left rendered weak when i listen to them.
Felt through a phone line meaning | Reviewer: OldGreg | 9/23/09
I think that the song is about John-David "J-D" Stuart the orginal bass player for 36 crazyfists. He was killed by a drunk driver on June 16 1996 while riding home a from celebration party after a show. As for the number 226 that was proably the hospital room number.

I think its about 2 people who get in a car accident. One survives the crash, while the other, narrating the succumbs to his/her wounds over time.
I think the 14 hours to get this soar, was a 14 hour surgery, and then the 25 days and i still can't get this right is trying to recover in the hospital. Eventually the narrator dies.
these guys never stop to amaze me!! very deep lyrics too....
i couldn't go through with the whole meaning of this song...it would take too much writing ;) though it would be nice to know what the "226 on the door" is....why 226?
thanks and enjoy this bodacious song!
