The thing that continually blows me away is there versatile and unique songs. This proves to me beyond any doubt that maynard is one of the greatest artist of his generation, and maybe, ever. please, immerse yourself, listen to these songs if you have not already: The Pot-Tool, Choke-Puscifer, and then listen to Fiddle and the Drum. I have often sung a capella so I know how difficult it can be. It is an amazing thing to me that I have never heard this song! My daughter (20) played it for me and I was astounded! So beautiful, so haunting. The two voices overplay wonderfully and we played it over and over - putting in as many extra harmonies as we could. It is sad that my generation misses such talented people simply by being too set in our ways to try listening to newer material -- or in this case, older material by newer groups. I have not yet heard any other songs by 'Perfect Circle' but I will. I'd be willing to buy their cd for this song alone. The only comment I also have is I don't believe 'Perfect Circle" used the word 'America' in thier version.
