It all started in Vancouver, when in 1995 Rob Wade played a
demo tape for Garth, Of course Garth liked it because Rob
is a very talented musician and Garth has impeccable taste.

Rob (who's on the drums) had played in a long line of other
band's so he knew where the shit was at. Rolling Stone has
said "Wade continually pushes his fellow musicians forward"

They picked up Guitarist, Bryan Fratesi and recorded Harsh
and Discord (An EP.) Some radio station's picked it up
(like our local power 97). But more importantly Jar
developed a solid fan base.

When Tom MacDonald joined in 1998, they had a reputation
for live show's and they toured across Canada being opening
act's for band's like Filter, Nashville Pussy and Judas
Priest.
