Flying Blind originated in the farm country of central
California. Namely in the small community of Hughson,
located about two hours south of Sacramento and two hours
east of San Francisco.

In 1993 the band officially formed and began playing
popular local venues such as "Charlies" in Modesto as well
as other gigs in the vicinity. Larger events, bigger
crowds, and more exposure led to their signing with
Universal in 2000. After their first official release in
2000, Flying Blind severed ties with their label and
released their album independently. Now, in 2003, Flying
Blind is recording their next EP, as well as playing venues
throughout the western US.
