Hailing from Sydney, Australia, Forlorn Suffering began in
October of 1998 when Dave Wylie (Guitars, Bass,
Programming) and Steve Kwok (Vocals, Programming) came
together to form the entity that became known as Forlorn
Suffering. Forlorn Suffering play a sweeping style of
melodic Death metal that also draws heavily on influences
from the genres of Black and Doom. Creating an atmosphere
of darkness and light, mixing aggression with melody,
Forlorn Suffering have carved out a niche of their own,
unwilling to follow trends or lapse into mediocrity.

Influenced by bands such as Theatre of Tragedy, Edge of
Sanity, Cradle of Filth, Tristania, Dissection, Crown of
