Gorgoroth was founded in Norway by Hat, Goat and Infernus in the beginning of the 90-ties, in 1992 to be exactly. Hat did the vocal, Goat the drums and Infernus the guitar. The name Gorgoroth is taken form the book Lord of The Rings, Gorgoroth is a dark and lifeless field where evil dwells. In 1993 Gorgoroth released their first demo called A Sorcery Written In Blood, Kjettar joined in on bass for that demo, but left right after. After the demo, Gorgoroth signed on Embassy Rec. where they also released their first album, Pentagram in 1994. Samoth of Emperor did the bass on Pentagram. After the the release of Pentagram, Goat and Samoth left the band. In 1996 Gorgoroth signed on Malicious Rec. which re-released Pentagram, the same year Gorgoroth released More... Most of them are not and cannot be confirmed. The big issue with them was the first line. Preslav claims (as we do) that the 1st line begins with the word "malicious" and ends with the word "heart". Mortuus on the other side was for "forces of rohan". It sounds plausible, but you have to have a wild imagination to hear "forces of rohan" in that line. The song itself is very beautiful, if these prove to be lyrics, as close as possible to the original ones. So it is about the people, who get killed by malicious ones by Dracula's thorn kill method. One of them escaped and became a slave, who fights for his own freedom by killing the rest. He gets humiliated and beaten, but he longs for revenge. Wound upon Wound is a metaphor, that says not "wound upon wound" but "dead body upon dead body". Still if you are sure about something please edit.
