On any given day, in one of Nashville's myriad recording
studios, there's likely to be an artist recording a song
written by the legendary Hank Cochran. And that's been the
case for the past six decades, as hundreds have mined the
massive Hank Cochran catalog for award-winning gems such as
"I Fall to Pieces," "She's Got You," "Make the World Go
Away," "A Little Bitty Tear," "The Chair," "Don't Touch
Me," and "Don't You Ever Get Tired of Hurtin' Me." Not bad

------ About artist/band Hank Cochran
I am a HUGE "real country" music fan. I always appreicate knowing who actually wrote the songs i hear (now on satellite radio.) I was in braodcasting for 40-years (now semi-retired) and lament the loss of 'real" country music on regular radio. Hank is a GIANT among writers and i wanted him to know how VERY MUCH I appreciate his talenr. Thanks, Barry Peel
I titled this "The Hanks" because I was exposed early on to both Hank Cochran and Hank Thompson. Of course we all know that Williams boy.
I had (and still have) an old RCA album from the 60's by Hank Cochran called "Going In Training." It's filled with great songs. "Sally Was A Good Old Girl", "The Little Folks", and the version to end all versions of "I Want To Go With You." Nothing wrong with Eddy Arnold's version but this is the one I learned first.
I'd love to have a newer copy, (mine's in pretty ragged shape but it still plays.) Anyway, there is little I could add to the praise for Hank Cochran. What a phenomenal songwriter and artist. Keep it up and Thank you for all the moods you've painted over the years, all the high & low times I remember when I hear one of your songs. God Bless You!!!
