Review about Heroine Sonny | Reviewer: Alixes | 7/2/09 Yeah, Matt Good was the original singer, but when Sonny went in to audition to play guitar, some producers heard him singing and replaced Matt. So, Matt went with guitar. And no, Sonny didn't leave the band because of vocal difficulties. He left because he wasn't happy. I quote, "I wasn't happy, and if you're not happy with what you're doing, then it isn't art anymore." He did however, have a deviated septum, but if that were the true problem, then he wouldn't have just come out with a new LP. Sonny Moore was experiencing vocal problems, that forced him to leave the band. Sonny came into the scene after the band was started, not when it was started.
