Yeah there are a bunch of people who think that its a bad turn for the Offspring but I don't. I think splinter needed this song to break up the album, there are plenty of 'stereotypical' Offspring songs on that album, The Noose and Lightning ROd to name just a few but I think if the whole album was like that it wouldn't be as big as it was. Unfortunately The Offspring have passed thier peak now and Splinter didn't sell to well but Hit That definately brought in more popularity and income than a normal Offspring song would.
