Absolutely Heavy Metal | Reviewer: Immortal Abbath | 5/20/2007

After the split-up of Immortal, the son of northern darkness Abbath decided to start over with a new band called simply I. The sound is a mix of Rock and Roll and Heavy Metal with the known murky lyrics of Immortal´s Black Metal in back days. Abbath has joined the famous Immortal´s ex-drummer Armagedda, guitarrist Ice Dale (Enslaved) and the bassist T.C. King (Gorgoroth), both from Norwegian metal scene which forms a solid line-up. The one responsible of the writing lyrics process is Demonaz (ex-Immortal). The sound contains a little hint of Motorhead, a bit of Viking Metal, that is as good as Immortal was.
