Westlife released a cover of "I Have a Dream" in December 1999, twenty years after ABBA's original release. The song became the group's fourth UK No. 1 single. The release was a double-A-side, also featuring "Seasons in the Sun". The release became the UK's Christmas number-one single of 1999, extending its peak into January 2000 and spending seventeen weeks in the UK chart. The song was the 26th best selling single of 1999 in the UK. In 2001, as part of a UNICEF fund-raising campaign, the song was re-recorded with additional vocals by Indonesian child singer, Sinna Sherina Munaf. The song has received a Platinum sales certification in the UK for over 650 000 copies sold.

"i have a dream" by westlife had gve me a hope tht my dream will be come true.. Especially the sentence "i have a dream, a fantasy. To help me through reality".. I know it was so hard to achieve a dream N it need so much to sacrifice. it was whn i was in class 9th. i was in the boy scout group of our school.it was the republic day district parade where i met a girl of some different school of guide team.i had a crush on her n always wondered 2 be wid her 4ever.when i was doing my intermediates that same girl took admission in my school.days passed we used 2 chat online n i cudn't know when i fell in love wid her.later i found that she already has a lover n both of them loved each other.but still i continued 2 luv her n dreamt about her.few yrs later i was in a different clg doing my undergrad. one day she was nline n started 2 chat wid me as we used 2 do earlier.i cudn't control myself n told her my feelings abt her.i cudn't bliv that she 2 used 2 luv me during our intermediates n had broked up wid the other guy.but the worst part was that sum1 else had proposed her n now she's wid him.....happy.still we are friends...we talk...we chat...we share joys n pains...n i still dream that some day she'll be mine...4ever n even more..

This song is so beautiful. Last night I heard it performed by a group of young boys on BBC Americas's I'D DO ANYTHING searching a boy to play OLIVER in a new presentation of the play. These boys sang so beautifully that it made me cry.> First of all, I have not the slightest idea who Westlife is because I am 68 years old; yet I see the reflection in the words the children sang of myself struggling through my life trying to see the good and finding my own nook. I've never been allowed to do that, I've been kicked to curb so many times I lost count.> If any one of you reading could know the despair I lived and yet came through against every odd, you would change your own life---IF YOU REALLY WANTED TO.> I know there are angels, not fairy tale angels, but physical guardians who shield me from the darkness of real life. I know I will be with them and my forbears in God's Kingdom with Jesus Christ when I pass on. Jesus has placed his hand inside me and healed me, and God personally placed his own "KEY TO GOD" on my key ring when I was sick and needed surgery. You see, they are all I ever had from the day I was born, but I still had to learn that they were all really there. I learned to ask and I was shown.

My mom will be 75 years old on 19th of July this year. She has raised successfully 7 children. Right now, She still cooking for family ( my sister's family), and every morning she walk for buying vegetables. she still reading books, playing organ, writing and do so many things, compare to other people on her age. Right now, I'm still 40, but I'm not sure, that I'll be as strong as her on the same age. (but I do hope so).
