The line "I'm in love with my lust/burning angel wings to dust" she means that she is losing her innocence. Innocence lost is a very common theme in Nightwish songs.

By "innocence lost" I mean she is seeing the world in a different way.

Why are people saying this is their worst song? My picks for worst Nightwish songs (because of lyrics) are:

"Passion and the Opera." This one is pretty bad, lyrically. But they have a worse song...and it is...

"NYMPHOMANIAC FANTASIA" This song is their absolute worst ever. The lyrics...UGH...makes me shudder just thinking about it.

Okay, a few things: One, stop insulting Anette! If you ask me, she is just as good as Tarja, even if her voice is different. Two, please, for the love of god, change it!!! Is the song about geometry?!!! I think not!! Three, this song is very good, for several reasons: One, Anette's voice is in perfect synchronization with the guys, even if he isn't the most talented guy ever. Two, the riffs are perfect for the song, with a rough, anger/jealousy/lust emotion. Three, the pacing is perfect: they could have turned it into something like 'Through The Fire and The Flames' by Dragonforce. Also, on the Anette vs. Tarja debate, if you listen,you can hear Tarja doing stuff in the background. Seriously, the only big thing to miss about Tarja is saying: "Their lead sing is named Tarja," and having your friend say back, "Their lead singer is a ninja?!!" Yeah, its happened to me before.

Lyrics are just that many of Nightwishes songs lean toward a religious thing. I found this song and its the song that made me love this band, I wish Tarja was back with them but, a great song hopefully the new chick don't murder it by trying to sing it.

i dont normally care about lyrics, but sometimes a song has such awkward lyrics i cannot stand it.

what does that even mean? anyways, the guys voice in this sounds like frigging meatloaf.

however, this is th eonyl song i cannot listen to. nightwish is my favorite band.
