I Write Sins Not Tragedies Lyrics
Artist(Band):Panic! At The Disco
Oh, well imagine, as I'm pacing the pews in a church corridor,
and I can't help but to hear, no I can't help but to hear an exchanging of words:
"What a beautiful wedding! What a beautiful wedding!" says a bridesmaid to a waiter.
"And yes, but what a shame, what a shame, the poor groom's bride is a whore."
I chime in with a "Haven't you people ever heard of closing a goddamn door?!"
No, it's much better to face these kinds of things with a sense of poise and rationality.
I chime in, "Haven't you people ever heard of closing a goddamn door?!"
No, it's much better to face these kinds of things with a sense of...
Well in fact, well I'll look at it this way, I mean technically our marriage is saved
Well this calls for a toast, so pour the champagne
Oh! Well in fact, well I'll look at it this way, I mean technically our marriage is saved
Well this calls for a toast, so pour the champagne, pour the champagne
I chime in with a "Haven't you people ever heard of closing a goddamn door?!"
No, it's much better to face these kinds of things with a sense of poise and rationality.
I chime in, "Haven't you people ever heard of closing a goddamn door?!"
No, it's much better to face these kinds of things with a sense of poise and rationality.
Again...
I chime in, "Haven't you people ever heard of closing a goddamn door?!"
No, it's much better to face these kinds of things with a sense of poise and rationality.
I chime in, "Haven't you people ever heard of closing a goddamn door?!"
No, it's much better to face these kinds of things with a sense of poise and rationality.
Again...

Come on, you can like any kind of music without being in a certain clique or whatever. I was really surprised when I was listening to P!ATD and someones just like 'hey you listen to that?' and i said 'yeah why?' and theyre like 'oh you dont really seem like the kind of person to listen that kinda music.' im like 'well what kind of person would? jeez.' just wanted to chime in with that. oh wow, the songs REALLY stuck in my head.
Meh | Reviewer: Narumi | 5/22/09
Panic at the Disco is my absolute favorite band ever. I mean, Ryan Ross' super skills are... super. However, they are not well represented in this song. It is not their best. While it's okay, it's mediocre at best and ridiculously overplayed. If you want to hear some good Panic, listen to She Had The World or There's a Good Reason These Tables Are Numbered, Honey, You Just Haven't Thought of it Yet.

Honestly I'm not even slightly an emo, I'm not really any kind of stereotype. But if I was, there's nothing wrong with that. I like loads of music, including panic! At the disco. So what? You don't have to be an emo to like this kind of music, and anyone who says that is just kind of ignorant. Freaking idiots.

I love this song and this band, you do not have to be emo to like these bands. Its not like Massive Attack or REM are going "hey i bet we can kick your asses derrrrr." I love these bands myself. oh and one more thing:
What makes you better than everyone else what makes you think that you are SO much better than Americans? Guess what you aren't better in fact you make yourself worse than everyone else by trying to talk like one group of people are horrible.
I HATE THIS | Reviewer: Anonymous | 12/30/08
OK IM SORRY IF ANYONE HAS A PROBLEM WITH ME SAYING THIS BUT IT HAS TO BE SAID U DONT HAVE TO BE GOTH OR EMO TO LOVE PANIC! AT THE DISCO!!!!!! THEY ARE LIKE MY FAV BAND EVER AND I'M ABOUT AS FAR AWAY FROM EMO AS U CAN GET SO JUST SHUT UP
WTF | Reviewer: Anonymous | 10/8/08
has anyone noticed that on the radio edit they take out the "God" in "God Damn" and make it "Damn" but the beat changes so much that if they thought they were helping which its not they shouldve bleped it out like they do with Fuck in other songs not cut it cuz it sounds horrible
Haven't you people ever heard of? | Reviewer: Jinouchi | 9/9/08
Its a good song, nothing to debate over, people like the kinda music that they do so fine, music isn't anything special, i think its just an entertainment, like tv or theatre. Personally, i like this song, but i'm not gunna make a statement of myself by saying that i like it, neither will i deny liking it if people call me emo, its just music. just entertainment. just material.
just a few words | Reviewer: Anonymous | 8/28/08
im no emo and i love this song..in fact if i had to label myself id say i look quite posh and brithish...FAR away from being emo. And i love this kind of music...can't you see that this whole "emo" thing is bullshit...sby invented it to make money out of it..it's a massive global fashion and it quite sucks sorry
it's not worth hating them...they are just puppets...all over the world...so just worry about your kids and teach them good. that's it
forget my english im argentinian
P!ATD IS THE BEST!!!!! | Reviewer: BloodyMary | 8/24/08
