------ About the song Five Foot One performed by Iggy Pop
"Five Foot One" towers high over most of the canon of popular music/culture as it addresses head on the most contentious issue of our times... To wit, do WE as a separate species of humankind have the RIGHT to "go home with all the Big Folks" ??? Sisters, brothers, I submit that as a Five Foot One Person (well, 5-6) that I/We DO. I've taken crap for too long and now I'm fighting mad. I'm as mad as hell. And Iggy has given poetic expression to our struggle. (Oh, and yes I wish life could be Swedish magazines too).

Gotta LOVE a 'Home Boy'! | Reviewer: Amy Gruber Phillips
------ About the song Home performed by Iggy Pop
Iggy's edgey & contagious chant of 'Home boy... home boy... Everybody needs a home' wakes me up and energizes me. Gets me dancing in my car as I race down the highway in the Southbound traffic! I listen to the song 5,6, 7 times in a row as I drive home from work and it transports me -- elevates me -- makes me feel that I am MORE than alive! THANK YOU IGGY POP!

------ About the album Instinct performed by Iggy Pop
Album rocks hard, not as popular as Brick by Brick, but it rocks harder! Closer to his work with the Stooges than his other recent works
