It's Dangerous Business Walking Out Your Front Door Lyrics
Artist(Band):Underoath
I've been up at this all night long
I've been drowning in my sleep
I've prayed for your safe place
And its time for us to leave
Time is running, its running on empty and the gas is running out
I've decided that tonight is the night
That I let love aside
Full speed ahead this seems to be the place
I've seen this once before
Planned perfection sought in my dreams
Hoping this would take you home
My knuckles have turned to white
There's no turning back tonight
Kiss me one last time
Around this turn where the cross will cast your shadow
The people will all gather
To remember such a day
Where the flames grew as high as trees
And the world stopped
It stopped for you and me
My knuckles have turned to white
There's no turning back tonight
Kiss me one last time
(Shut your eyes)
My knuckles have turned to white
There's no turning back tonight
(So hold on tight)
Kiss me one last time
(Shut your...)
I will now bring new meaning to the word alone
Endless nights of dreaming of life
And the days we should have spent here
Drowning in my sleep I'm drowning in my sleep
Drowning in my sleep I'm drowning in my sleep
(x6)
Glass shatters and comes to a halt
I thought we'd be there by now
I thought it would be so much quicker than this
Pain has never been so brilliant
I made sure you were buckled in
Now you can walk hand in hand
Hand in hand with Him
My knuckles have turned to white
There's no turning back tonight
Kiss me one last time
(Shut your eyes)
My knuckles have turned to white
There's no turning back tonight
(So hold on tight)
Kiss me one last time
(Shut your...)

Review about It's Dangerous Business Walking Out Your Front Door
powerfull!! | Reviewer: becky | 9/6/2008I LOVE THIS SONG!!, my fav so far...
I think that this song is about a guy.
And he pray's for hes girlfriend, because he loves her so much and wants her to be safe.
Hes not happy where he is.
He knows thats the only way that him and hes girlfriend can be happy and safe is if they are in heaven.
He is kind of afraid, but he knows they will be alot better off.
So he drives until he finds a bridge thats been destroyed and drives straight off of it,
and in to a post.
killing him and hes girlfriend so they can be happy together in a better place.
(and SPENCER CHAMBERLAIN, and JAMES SMITH both hot!! he he!
good song.. | Reviewer: Keegan | 5/20/2008
the title does come from lord of the rings..
and its pretty easy to see the meaning if you watch the video clip and listen to the lyrics..
he commits suicide and kills hes lover in a car crash so they can both be in Heaven together...
but he doesnt drive the car off a bridge becuase if you watch the clip you see the car smashed into a pole..
Awesome. | Reviewer: Anonymous | 4/15/2008
The song is about a guy who wants to commit suicide, and takes his lover with him, so that they can both be in Heaven together.
I think he drives a car over a bridge.
At least, thats what i can get out of it.
Its a powerful song.

"Its dangerous business, Frodo, walking out your front door, You step onto the road, and if you don't keep your feet, there's no telling where you might be swept off to."
Does this quote have anything to do with this song?
Its from Lord of the Rings

This is definately my favorite Underoath song. I love this band because love the fact that they may be in the mainstream, but they are still Christian "Pain has never been so brilliant,
Now you can walk hand in hand
Hand in hand with Him"
Thank you Jesus!!!!
