Jerusalem(On A Friday) Lyrics - Radiohead
Review The Song (2)
millions of people standing like ghosts
waiting for the entrance sign
to heaven or hell or whatever they call
the place of oblivion after the bomb drops
death wears a big hat and a thin red tie
he dances in front of all the cameras
death has a satchel his blood is carrying
and hidden inside is the key to the world
here comes Mr. B, B-29
here comes Mr. B-29
here comes Mr. B, B-29
here comes Mr. B-29
somewhere in Palestine a crazy young man
wants to rule the world
so he buys himself an atom bomb and he drops it on your head
you'll know what he wants 'cause you won’t have a face to hold on to
yeah, hold on to, yeah
here comes Mr. B B-29
here comes Mr. B-29
here comes Mr. B B-29
here comes Mr. B-29
I don’t want to hear about this
I don’t want to know about your confessions
there’s nothing in this life that really means as much as me and you
and life is so important and all you’re talking about is bombs
pouring all that money down the drain
we don’t want to hear about it
here comes Mr. B B-29
here comes Mr. B-29
here comes Mr. B B-29
here comes Mr. B-29
I don’t want to die
don’t want to die
don’t want to die, oh no
I don’t want to die
don’t want to die
don’t want to die, wooh
I don’t want to die
don’t want to die
don’t want to die
here she comes now Mr. B-29, B-29, B-29

No, it's not about atom bombs. | Reviewer: Anonymous | 2/12/11
It's obviously about the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. He says that he doesn't care and bombs doesn't matter. He thinks that people here in Israel thinks only about bombs, which is not true. The song talks about how the religion makes the people here in th middle east do crazy stuff. Yeah, why for the peace on earth can't we just leave those stupid conflicts behind us? (Sorry if I had spelling mistakes, I speak mostly Arabic and Hebrew.)

this song is not Radiohead, so if you were expecting them then this is not what you want. it is however an extremely catchy song which i love. It's obviously about dropping an atom bomb and the destruction it causes. maybe this is the start of thom's whole renewable energy/global warming/ nuclear power advocacy. who knows. being thom, he probably wants to forget he ever made this music.
