deaths. Maury Muehleisen, Jim's lead guitarist and constant
companion, also died in the crash.

In a burst of discovery, the U.S. record-buying public was

    Review about Jim Croce

    truth | Reviewer: matt
------ About the song Operator (That's Not The Way It Feels) performed by Jim Croce

The saddest thing is this is a true story. He came back from the army and his woman left him for his best friend. The man was only 30 when he died, and yet his life was still full of the pain that an 80 year old man feels through his years. Fucked up......

    Amazing | Reviewer: William Cayemberg
------ About the song Lover's Cross performed by Jim Croce

Truly an amazing song. Pure poetry and such a sad haunting melody. Jim is truly missed. Such a shame more folks don't give him a listen.

ANOTHER VERSION | Reviewer: ALICE TILSON
------ About the song Greenback Dollar performed by Jim Croce

I READ THE LYRICS TO YOUR VERSION OF GREENBACK DOLLAR--
    THERE MUST BE ANOTHER SONG---
THAT I LEARNED AS A CHILD--
    IT WAS SOMETHING LIKE--
I DON'T WANT YOUR GREENBACK DOLLARS--
I DON'T WANT YOUR WATCH AND CHAIN-
ALL I WANT IS YOU MY DARLING--
WON'T YOU TAKE ME BACK AGAIN===

    MANY MIGHTS DID I WANDER-
DOWN BESIDE THE DEEP BLUE SEA--
IN YOUR HEART YOU LOVE ANOTHER--
IN MY GRAVE I'D RATHER BE---

AND I CAN NOT REMEMBER THE OTHER VERSES--
BUT I DO KNOW THE TUNE---
    THANKS--
DO YOU KNOW THIS VERSION OR WHERE I CAN GET IT??

------ About the song Lover's Cross performed by Jim Croce

Lover's Cross is a timeless entry into the world of good loving gone bad genre of what might have been. Jim Croce had a tremendous skill in starting and ending truley emotional songs. His insight, spirit and verbage are sorely today.
