... worshiping celebrities and such like heroes?

Because if so, the lyrics seem to fit exactly how everyone feels about Michael Jackson dying. He was built up, then knocked down, and now that he's dead everyone seems to love him again.

Anyone else see what I'm saying here?

(And yes, I know there's no way the song could be about Jackson dying because it was written over a decade ago, but this just seems like a prime example of what the song's about.)
