    it's a good song. it captures the ignorance of young people in love quite nicely. you know, we are young, no one can tell us we're wrong. then follows with "searching our hearts for so long"... which is a bit comical, since it's coming from a self-professed "young" source... meaning that this long-length of time spent searching does in fact have limits. but it does masterfully confine things to the world of the song. as for me, i could never be a song writer... because i'd slide off into other thinkings. determine that my starting thoughts were now proven crap... and end up killing my songs over and over again. after all, you tell me the perfect example of love in this world? you tell me what youthful love has ever lasted unscathed and untarnished for a whole lifetime? i do believe love is eternal. so it's best to not use "love" out of context. then again, it's been going on and on forever. and now "love" has become an ineffective, petty little word. what once moved mountains can now barely move period. for a so-called ever-advancing culture, you know damned well that the emotional spectrum of it is in decline. rather than improve life, we have made it nothing special at all. and "love" is now a collection, and not a single source, as it was meant to be. (love is a battlefield?) nowadays, it's an overflowing cemetary for hearts.

    pat Benatar is a lovly singer but yet known as a profeshonal sex machine .Her song has a moral to it but never dose it explaine the concequence of being in love.Other than that a very good song

    I had a crap night the night before, so i watched suddenly 30, heartbroken. i hear this song and started crying!!! i love it so much and it means so much to me. Love it.
