This is a very very complex song, as a drummer it is very difficult to play, in my humble opinion Bohnam makes two mistakes in this song where he just does not quite get in what he was attempting, not complaining at all in fact it shows that he was actually human as most all of his work is perfect.
The guitar scales in this song are truly brilliant, Page at his finest.

How were Led Zeppelin going to follow up on their ground-breaking first effort? Not many artists are able to do it. These guys did. The second album featured a different, eclectic range of songs which showed their versatility. Same meticulous approach to creating a new path for everyone else to follow; same driving rhythm section, same perfection in the guitar riffs; This time Robert Plant showed us his ability to use his voice to take us to different places. The riffs used on this album became the benchmark for all other bands to follow. Blues, folk, rock. This album had it all. And again I have to say that Plant's voice soared above all the music and also delivered a beautiful 'Thank You'. A song for all time.

I got this framed
and matted Led Zeppelin ll album, left to me in an estate.
It was all sealed up, so I gently opened up the back to see if there really was a album in there or just the record jacket.. must to my surprised there it was. The jacket appears not to have been opened at all, except now by me.. and there are no scratches on the album either.
this is perfect for collectors. and in new condition..

Perhaps "Achiles Last Stand" is the best song in the entire History of rock music. Indeed, Led Zeppelin is the best band of the genre ever. Misvaluated and even misundertood by fans and critics, Presence is one of the Zeppelin's masterpieces, with sounds that go from the classical hard rock-blues-psichadelic style of the band to deep "road movie" ballads like the one that closes the album. If you want to get in for the very first time in the Zeppelin's music, I recomend this option, even rather than the classic radio hits from Led zeppelin IV.
