Since Little Texas made their debut on the music scene in
1991, they have achieved remarkable success. They have been
recipients of numerous awards and honors and continue to
make great contributions to the music industry today.
Little Texas composes, co-produces and plays the
instruments that create their unique country sound, and
they take great pride in that accomplishment. Their talents
abound with strong vocals, tight harmonies, award-winning
writing and multi-instrumental abilities.
Little Texas signed with Warner Bros. Records in 1989.
Their first single "Some Guys Have All the Love" was
released in 1991. Back then the band would affectionately
and say it was "the little song that could". Now in
retrospect they can say it was the little song that did!

------ About the song What Might Have Been performed by Little Texas
I hate country - I'm more of a fan of goth rock... but this song really hits home for me. In my case it makes me think of someone that I might have had a future with had I not moved a few years ago (I lived in Louisiana at the time). Nothing ever happened then - I was afraid that my family would think he was too weird, even though he was obviously attracted to me and me to him. I'm happily married now - in fact, I married someone who's a lot like him (they're both creepy, tattooed and raven-haired) but I still wonder sometimes how things might have been different if I'd stayed.

------ About the song What Might Have Been performed by Little Texas
This song says what we all know - but don't want to hear or face. That the one real love you have - that person that holds a chunk of your heart - just can't be. Everyone should have that one person that still tugs at your heart - but is "unreachable" for some reason or another. And then reality pops back in...and you actually have that wonderful life. Enjoy life - live for each love and stay true.

------ About the song What Might Have Been performed by Little Texas
It was a 30-year High School reunion. It was alumni-only night, no spouses. There she was. We danced, talked, laughed. As the night went on, it was clear that there were still very strong feelings between us. She was divorced, I was not. The invitation came to "have a drink" at her place, not far away. Then this song played. It brought me right back to my blessed life.
Wow, that was close.
