They remind me a lot of the music I grew up listening to in the late 80's and early 90's--I hate the word retro, but it's the only word that fits their sound. Great lyrics, great everything, and Blood Red Sandman is my favorite of all their songs. Great for waking you up while driving to work in the morning. Sometimes it's easier just to ignore the views and just to enjoy the music, which is what I do with Lordi. Besides, these guys look awesome in their gear. The drummer makes me think of the Chatterer from Hellraiser XD Though I'd laugh if the band came out and said something like "Yeah this song is about dead cheerleaders and that's all," or "Yeah this song's about headbanging butterflies and candy!" mostly because generally, songs can be taken out of context by fans.
