"They're pushing these children/ for all the wrong reasons
/so far/man you're crushing down their spirits"
-from the song 'Fred Astaire'
Hailing from the deep recesses of Chicago's suburbs, how
could Lucky Boys Confusion be anything but what they are: a
scrappy, kinetic, precocious fivesome whose divergent
influences of punk, hip hop, and reggae, provide the
propulsion for one wild ride, both live and on record.
Their Elektra debut, Throwing The Game, produced by Howard
Benson (P.O.D., Less Than Jake, Zebrahead) and mixed by
Randy Staub (Metallica, U2, Veruca Salt.) is filled with
memorable bursts of careening punk-hop - "3 To 10/CB's
Caddy Part III" and "Child's Play" - and reggae-tinged gems
- "City Lights" and "Not About Debra," as well as more
pristine rock More...

------ About the song Mr. Wilmington performed by Lucky Boys Confusion
I was front row at an amazing LBC acoustic show with just Stubhy and Adam. Stubhy said that this song was about his imagination of what things would have been like had he (Stubhy himself) gone off the deep end at some point with his drug use and other problems, leaving his dad in undeserved suffering. He changed the last name to Wilmington because his last name (Pandav) wouldn't have the same ring to it. So "Mr. Wilmington" isn't about anything that actually happened to anyone from Wilmington,IL nor anywhere else, it's about what could have happened to Stubhy himself, had things gone a little differently.

------ About the song Hey Driver performed by Lucky Boys Confusion
Absolutely amazing. I heard this song and felt like I could take on a guy I just hitch-hiked on who had hand-cuffs and a bloody chainsaw in his back seat. This song is definitely on "Quite Possibly The Greatest Mix CD Ever".

------ About artist/band Lucky Boys Confusion
I was like, oh, great, another band...
Then I listened to them.
I was greatly impressed. I mean, the music is pumped and well-organized. The lyrics are empowering. Seeing them live is much better, but the cds will not disappoint anyone. I actually bought the cd instead of hunting for it online... and I hate paying for music!

Dude, These guys are way killer, they totally need more attention than there getting. I first got to hear Hey Driver on a video game(MVP Baseball 2004) and had to find the CD. thing is, I had to go all the way to the Mall Of America to find Throwing The Game. It was worth it though. so now I just am ordering Commitment off eBay. Don't stop making music guys!!!!!! YOU ROCK!!!
