Rainbow is a beautiful album with a blend of R&B and ballads. Outstanding tracks in this album includes "Against all odds" and "Can't take that away". However, this album is a drastic transition from her previous works. Tracks like "Did I do that?" and "After tonight" are a disappointment and no longer as they are not as distinct and outstanding. You would only love this album if you are a die- hard Mariah fan. If you are just beginning to like Mariah, you should start with "Daydream" and "Mariah Carey".

i always loved her. her cd charmbracelet i think this is one of the greatest album she'd ever made and the song through the rain is what i love the most. i love her so much. she has a great voice and your right aaron, no one can beat her, haha. she is the greatest singer of all times.and i admire her very well. hope i can see her in personal, even her husband nick, even nick has a tallent you know.

In all truth and opinion is some of mariah's greatest vocal and songwritting skills after the turn of the decade. this album showcases her amazing vocals. although this was dubbed a flop. listen to tracks such as. reflections lead the way. never too far and even the b. side. there for me. all those songs are the perfect example of mariah carey in 1995. amazing album

Mariah Carey and all the negativity surrounding her. Lets start here.... What other solo-female vocalist has 19 #1's? Who else has the seven-octave range? Who else can open a garage door with her voice? Who else has sold over 180 million records world-wide? Who else can beat the king ELVIS on billboards? Mariah is 18 years her celebrity, shes 38 years old, how does she do it? Stays at the top of every chart, every year. How is she able to stay with the flow and keep with the current fabs? Well, the answer is very easy... she is simply the best! Ok, i admit it, her only fall back was Glitter (even though it was boderline OK). Well, look at her now, she aint going anywhere for a very long time, she is an icon, a ledgend. And just because the haters disagree, that dont take away the facts.
And it dont even faze her.... KEEP GOING MC, YOUR SEXY AS HELL!!!!

Before the guest appearences by the hip hop artists Mariah showcases her vocal talent. While some may think the album is a bit boring here and there the songwriting is incredible. I believe that there should have been other singles from this album that should have been hits. Underneath the Stars & Melt Away should have definately been released as singles. I would recommend that if you r a die hard mariah fan this is definately a album to have. what I was dissapointed in was the fact that this great album was nominated for six grammys awards winning none. Then again why should I be suprised this is the same award show that trats her very wrong.

I love this album. I used to hate Mariah Carey until my sister Taylor had me listen to her cd. I did eventually listen to it and once I heard the first song I fell in love with this cd. I love this cd mainly because I can realte to the lyrics and songs in so many ways. Therefore I just really enjoy this cd and I fall asleep to it every night. Weird huh? lol well anyways this is just a great cd.
